Former Chicago Bulls center Bill Wennington inducted into the Canadian Hall of Fame

Bill Wennington won the third of his three NBA championships in 1998. The Canadian center was a reserve center for the Bulls, playing in 48 games but starting just 8. He averaged 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds per game throughout the season.

After leaving the Bulls at the conclusion of the 1998-99 season, Wennington spent one final NBA season in Sacramento with the kings. He is regarded as one of the greatest Canadian basketball players of all-time, having been selected into the Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005.
