1997-1998 was the last run with the Bulls for another great man, Phil Jackson. This was Jackson’s 6th title with the club. Jackson nearly wasn’t coaching the team that season and signed a one-year deal for the season. His relationship with General Manager Jerry Krause had broken down and the men were a bit tired of working together.

Jackson would go on to build another dynasty, this time in Los Angeles. Jackson would win 5 titles with the Lakers, bringing his total to an NBA record 11. He also holds the record for most championships as a player and coach with 13. He was inducted into Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007.
