V Wars (Canceled)
Netflix has canceled yet another science fiction series based on a book of the same name. V Wars starred sci-fi veteran Ian Somerhalder as a doctor trying during a deadly outbreak that is turning people into vampires.
This show may be a victim of poor timing, as you’d be hard-pressed to find a person in the year 2020 and beyond wanting to watch a show about a virus outbreak. We’re living it, we don’t want to watch it for entertainment.
Stranger Things (Renewed)
Stranger Things is one of Netflix’s biggest hits of all-time, so it’s no wonder the show has been renewed for a fourth season. The show’s creators have said it’s likely to end after the fifth, so enjoy it while it’s here friends.
If you’ve never seen the show, it’s about a group of kids trying to investigate the disappearance of their friend. What they uncover is a whole host of supernatural events in their small Indiana town during the 1980s.
GLOW (Canceled)
This one stings a bit. GLOW is a fun series about the gimmicky Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling circuit that traveled the country in the late 80s and 90s. The show has done really well and was renewed for a fourth and final season.
However, GLOW was one of the casualties of the pandemic as Netflix was forced to reverse its decision and cancel the show. The good news it that Netflix shows live on forever on demand, so if you want to see Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin cracking skulls you will always have those three seasons.
