Breshad Perriman
A 6’2 physical specimen who was the son of a former NFL wide receiver (Brett Perriman), ran the 40 yard dash in 4.24 seconds, and was compared by some to former Houston Texans’ great Andre Johnson, many people saw Central Florida’s Breshad Perriman as a potential game-breaking wide receiver, if a team could just polish the “rawness” of his game.
But Perriman’s time in Baltimore, who selected him in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, was marred by a series of mysterious leg injuries that sidelined him much of his early professional career. And when he did step on the field, the Ravens quickly realized he had every tool you could ever want from a wide receiver… except the hands to actually hold on to the football. Before the start of the 2018 season, the Ravens released Perriman.
