Percy Harvin
The Seahawks were so excited to have acquired Harvin in a trade with Minnesota that they immediately gave him a six-year, $67 million deal. However, because of injuries Harvin only played in one game for Seattle during the regular season, catching one pass. Admittedly, he returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the Super Bowl that season, although Seattle would have easily won that game without Harvin or that kickoff return.
That touchdown aside, Harvin’s time in Seattle was a disaster. Reportedly, he also fought with teammates in the locker room, doing more harm than good for the Seahawks. The Seahawks quickly discovered that he was more trouble than he was worth, so they traded him the following year and surely regret giving him that contract or trading for him in the first place.
