After his time in prison, the Eagles gave Vick a second chance, giving him a $1.6 million non-guaranteed deal before the 2009 season. Vick got a chance to play in 2010, re-emerging as a star in the league. That prompted Philadelphia to hand Vick a six-year, $100 million contract with $40 million guaranteed the following offseason.

Naturally, it was all downhill from there. During the rest of his time with the Eagles, Vick was just 12-17 as a starter. His accuracy was down and he wasn’t quite as dynamic a runner as he was earlier in his career, which the Eagles should have seen coming. After signing the six-year extension, Vick lasted just three seasons in Philadelphia before Nick Foles became the starter and the Eagles moved on from Vick.
