The Chicago Bulls made the right choice in drafting big man LaMarcus Aldridge with the second overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft. The Bulls definitely made the wrong choice by turning around and trading Aldridge to the Portland Trail Blazers for Tyrus Thomas (the 4th overall pick in the same draft whom Portland selected), and Viktor Khryapa.

Aldridge emerged into a six-time All-Star with the Trail Blazers and San Antonio Spurs, while Thomas never averaged more than 11 points or seven rebounds over the course of his career, and Khryapa spent four incognito seasons in the NBA in between playing in Russia.
