2. Drew Brees – Michael Thomas
Drew Brees continued to defy the odds of size and age as he completed a career high 74% of his passes in 2018. No doubt former Ohio State star Michael Thomas is a big reason for the success. The sure-handed wide receiver dropped only 3 passes in all of the 2018 season on his way to a career high 125 catches.
A hyper-accurate quarterback and a wide receiver who has sticky hands. It’s easy to see why were the New Orleans Saints were a missed pass interference call from challenging for the Super Bowl.
1. Patrick Mahomes – Travis Kelce
Patrick Mahomes lit up the league last season, his first as Chiefs starter, throwing for over 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns on his way to the NFL MVP award. Tight end Travis Kelce meanwhile caught 10 of those touchdowns and over 1,300 of those yards.
Together they formed one of the best offenses in the league ranking 4th in passing yards and 3rd in points per game. Chiefs’ fans will be hoping that this is the year the Chiefs finally make it to the Super Bowl with coach Andy Reid.
