4. Matt Ryan – Julio Jones
Ryan had a quietly great year in 2018 throwing for nearly 5,000 yards, 35 touchdowns and racking up a QB rating of 108.1, the second highest of his career. Julio Jones caught 113 passes for 1677 yards in 2018, all the while publicly grumbling about his contract situation.
Now that Jones has a new long-term contract, and peace of mind, the NFC South should watch out. A more focused Jones, and Matt Ryan looking to get back to the Super Bowl? These two could put up record numbers in 2019.
3. Aaron Rodgers – Davante Adams
You could throw a high-school wide receiver out to catch passes for Aaron Rodgers and they’d still rank in the top ten of this list. Fortunately for Rodgers though, he has the gifted Davante Adams who has already caught 39 touchdown passes in his young career.
Rodgers should be especially heartened this year as new Head Coach Matt LaFleur was brought in to open up a stagnant Green Bay offense. Is this the year the Packers and Rodgers get back to the Super Bowl?
