Perhaps one of the most productive running backs of the 2000’s, this side of LaDainian Tomlinson, Clinton Portis ran for more than 1,250 yards in six of his first seven seasons after entering the NFL in 2002. Originally drafted by the Denver Broncos, Portis ran for more than 1,500 yards in each of his first two seasons, and was subsequently acquired by the Washington Redskins as the centerpiece of Joe Gibbs’ offense, when the Hall of Fame coach returned to the sidelines.

Portis officially retired in 2012, but thanks to the relationship he built with Washington Redskins’ owner Daniel Snyder, he currently works as a sideline reporter for local broadcasts of the Redskins.
