Steve Smith is second on the all time win shares list among Michigan State players drafted into the NBA, just barely ahead of Zach Randolph and Kevin Willis. That probably says more for the lack of Michigan State NBA stars than it does for Smith, who overlapped with many of the others on this list.

Smith scored over 13,000 points in the NBA —many of them with Willis’s Atlanta Hawks, some with Z-Bo’s Blazers, and even a few with Willis again on the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs in 2003. Smith was a prototypical scoring two guard in the 90s, averaging at least 16 points seven straight seasons, one of them as an All Star.
