By now, everyone knows the story of Johnny Manziel. But this might be a good time to remind you that Cleveland Browns’ owner Jimmy Haslam said that one reason he thought it’d be a good idea for the Browns to take Manziel was after a homeless guy urged Haslam to do so, right before the draft. That says plenty. Manziel did in Cleveland what he did plenty of before he even got to the NFL: enjoying his newfound celebrity, spending way too much time partying, and toeing the line of abusing all sorts of recreational substances.
