After starting all 16 games as a rookie during the 2008 season, Joe Flacco guided the Baltimore Ravens to the AFC Championship game, and was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year that year. The following year, Flacco helped the Ravens reach the playoffs again, but suffered an injury late in the season, which was painfully evident in the Ravens opening playoff game against the New England Patriots. Flacco had a miserable day, completing only four of 10 passes for 34 yards, with one interception. And yet, thanks to the 234 yards rushing (and four touchdowns) the Ravens had that game, they still won by a 33-14 score.
