Marshawn Lynch was a 1,000-yard rusher in his first two seasons with the Buffalo Bills, before off-the-field issues allowed Fred Jackson to pass him on the depth chart. Midway through the 2010 season, the Bills traded Lynch to Seattle, getting only a fourth-round pick and a fifth-round pick for him. Lynch went on to have four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with the Seahawks, having the best seasons of his career, and helping Seattle win a Super Bowl.

There’s an argument that Lynch could end up in the Hall of Fame, meaning the Bills traded a future Hall of Fame running back for a couple of mid-round picks.
