Welcome back to the NFL season! A great time for fans who love the sport and everything that comes with it. Although the season is just kicking-off, it’s always fun to look forward and project where each team will finish the season.
Our projections are mostly based on roster changes (additions and subtractions) with a heavy focus on each team’s strength of schedules. Which teams will make the biggest jump in the standings? Who’s going to fall out of the playoff picture? With all of that in mind, let’s take a look at our record predictions for all 32 NFL teams in 2022, going from worst to first.
Houston Texans
It could be a tough road ahead for Lovie Smith. The Texans are actually going into the season with Davis Mills at quarterback, not to mention a questionable rushing attack. While the Houston secondary got two key additions in the draft, the team’s front seven still has some holes.
Even if the Texans don’t play in the strongest division, where are the wins coming? Most of Houston’s most winnable games against the Bears and Giants are on the road while five of their eight home games are against teams that had a winning record in 2021.
Projected Record: 3-14
