Mark Macon spent five seasons in the NBA, between 1991 and 1996, and then briefly came back for a season in 1999, before heading overseas to play. Macon returned back to Temple in 2003, after his professional playing days were over, getting a coaching spot on legendary coach John Chaney’s staff (Chaney also coached Macon when the latter was in school).
