Marques Colston was such an unknown commodity in 2006 that when the New Orleans Saints selected him with the 252nd pick (in the 7th round), many NFL sites didn’t know whether to list him as a wide receiver or a tight end. But after winning the starting job in training camp as a rookie, Colston went on to finish second in the NFL’s Rookie of the Year award voting in 2006, losing out to Vince Young. After a 10-year career with the Saints, he left the team as its all-time leader in receiving yards, yards from scrimmage, receiving touchdowns, total touchdowns, and total receptions.
