The 2007 NFL Draft was one of those groups that produced players who turned out to be generational stars (like Calvin Johnson and Adrian Peterson), or colossal busts (like Craig Davis). Another freakishly-gifted athlete to come out of LSU, the then-San Diego Chargers took Davis with the 30th overall pick (one spot ahead of perennial Pro Bowl tight end Greg Olsen).

In the subsequent four seasons after drafting him, Davis caught a grand total of 51 passes and only two touchdowns; by the Fall of 2011, he was out of the NFL.
