In 2011, first baseman Adrian Gonzalez not only won the Gold Glove award for his defensive work at first base, but also the Silver Slugger award for his work at the plate. His .356 batting average with runners in scoring position with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2013 ranks as the second highest such batting average for the team over the last five years. In 2014, Gonzalez finished with 116 RBI, which was the highest mark in the majors. That year, the Dodgers nominated him for the Hank Aaron Award, awarded each year to the top hitter in each league.
