If you’re wondering who the woman on CNN with the Australian accent is, that would be Lynda Kinkade. The Sydney native landed on our sunny shores in 2013 covering breaking news and other stories in New York City for Australian news outlets.

Eventually, though, she moved to CNN International and anchored the news desk for the international edition of CNN Newsroom. After a few months of commuting from New York City to CNN’s home in Atlanta, the move was made permanent and she relocated to the South.
