CNN: Robyn Curnow

If you’re a big fan of the sport of cricket then you probably already know the Curnow family name. Robyn’s grandfather, Syd, is a legendary South African cricketer. Robyn grew up between South Africa and Australia and was educated at Cambridge University in England.

Curnow cut her journalistic teeth in her native land during the Mandela era, which was surely an excellent introduction to the game. Eventually, she made the move to CNN working out of London and covering Europe. These days she is based out of Atlanta and anchors CNN Newsroom.
