Despite having one of the all-time great defenses, the Ravens of the early 2000s had a rotating list of starting quarterbacks that never lived up to the quality of the defense. In 2003, the Ravens drafted Kyle Boller with their first-round pick to finally get their franchise quarterback.

It wasn’t Boller. He played 5 seasons in Baltimore and managed to play a full season just once. He managed to throw for more than 2,000 yards only once and retired with a career passer rating of just 69.5.
