Limas Sweed joined the Pittsburgh Steelers during a time when the team was on a roll. Ben Roethlisberger had established himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the league and the team gathered weapons for him to use. Sweed should have been one of those.

At 6’4’ and 220 pounds, Sweed was a big, physical receiver. Sweed was often injured, but couldn’t catch the ball even when he was on the field. He was cut in 2011 but was a passenger on the 2008 Super Bowl-winning team.
