Freddie Mitchell was a first-round draft pick out of UCLA. He was brought in to provide a playmaking wide receiver for Donovan McNabb to throw to. Instead, he caught just 90 passes for 1,263 yards in his entire 4 year NFL career.

In his best game as a professional, the 2004 Divisional Playoff matchup against the Vikings, Mitchell caught two touchdowns passes. Asked about the performance afterward he said, “I just want to thank my hands for being so great.” Those same hands were cut by the Eagles the next year and were unable to find work again in the league.
