Denver Broncos: Paxton Lynch

The legacy of John Elway is tarnished by one thing, his inability as an executive to find a franchise quarterback. Paxton Lynch is a perfect example of that. Drafted in the first round by the Broncos because of his “prototypical” NFL quarterback size. This completely ignored the fact that he played his college ball at Memphis, and only played three seasons.

Maybe Lynch should have stayed in school because he was completely overmatched by the speed of the NFL game. In two seasons with the Broncos, he made just 4 starts, throwing 4 touchdowns and four interceptions.
