There was once a time when quarterback Josh Freeman looked like one of the NFL’s next stars. He helped lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 10-6 record in 2010, resulting in a playoff berth and being named an alternate to the Pro Bowl.

But the following year was an absolute disaster, as the team went 4-12 amidst all the hype around them, with Freeman throwing an NFL-high 22 interceptions that year. Less than two years after the end of that awful 2011 season, the Buccaneers released Freeman in the middle of the season, after they couldn’t find anyone to whom they could trade him away.
