While Charles Barkley was clearly a transcendent talent with the Philadelphia 76ers (enough so that he was named to the famous 1992 Dream Team in the Summer Olympics), the Philadelphia 76ers grew tired of his volatility and controversies that he always found himself in.

The 76ers traded him in the summer of 1992, and then watched Barkley average over 25 points, 12 rebounds, and five assists per game, en route to winning the 1993 NBA MVP and leading the Phoenix Suns to the NBA Finals.
