UCLA’s 11 National Championships are more than anyone else in history and the only reason they are 5th on our list is that 10 of the 11 National Championships came before 1975. While the run of those Bruins teams is historic and unparalleled by anything in the men’s game, it was a different time.

They won 88 straight games for crying out loud. From 1962-1975, they played in 12 Final Fours and won the whole thing in 10 of them. Are you kidding? Lead by Tyus Edney and Ed O’Bannon, who costs fans the EA Sports NCAA Football video game series, the 1995 Bruins carried on the strong tradition set down by John Wooden.
