11. Marshon Lattimore, New Orleans Saints
What Was Said At the Time: “I’ve studied the top cornerbacks coming out and he’s the best I’ve seen. He’s so athletic that he can just post up under the receiver’s chin and shadow him all over the field. And he’s tough, too. He’ll be one of the top cornerbacks pretty quickly.” -Pro personnel director for AFC team, via NFL.com

Where Lattimore is now.
It didn’t take long for Lattimore to start living up to all of the pre-draft hype. The Saints initially wanted to bring him along slowly, but thanks in part to injuries and discipline issues, Lattimore was starting by Week 4 of his rookie season. He went on to being named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and being invited to the Pro Bowl. Despite a lack of postseason accolades, it was more of the same for Lattimore in 2018, who was once again one of the best players on the New Orleans defense, giving the Saints no reason to regret drafting him.
