JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers (Pick #62)
After three productive seasons at USC, most saw Smith-Schuster as a solid NFL wide receiver, but he’s blossomed into a bonafide star over his first two seasons in the league, despite staying on the draft board until the 3rd round. Even some of the best receivers in NFL history can’t claim 111 catches for over 1,400 yards in their second season, but Smith-Schuster did just that while playing opposite Antonio Brown.
The next challenge for Smith-Schuster is continuing to produce at a high level now that opposing teams don’t have to worry about Brown. But there’s little reason to doubt his ability to serve as Pittsburgh’s no. 1 receiver for many years to come.
