Ironically, it was only after last year where the collective NFL media and fan base started to accept tight end Zach Ertz as one of the best tight ends in the NFL, even though his statistical production over the prior two years was almost identical (though his touchdown reception total did double every year, from two to four to eight last year).

Over the past three years, Ertz has had at least 74 receptions for 816 yards. He’s the definition of the athletic tight end who can move around the formation and cause mismatches with linebackers or cornerbacks. He is also, without question, the #1 receiving option for the Philadelphia Eagles.
