Ask any fan of the Houston Texans about the way Lamar Miller runs the football, and the vast majority of them will tell you the same thing: he takes the handoff from his quarterback, makes a beeline right into the back of one of his offensive linemen, hits the offensive linemen, and then falls over for either no gain or negative yardage. There might not be a more frustrating running back to watch in the NFL than Lamar Miller, whether as a football player or if you have him on your fantasy football team.
How many people realize Miller has had only one game with more than 100 yards rushing since early December of 2016? Since his career-high 1,099 yards rushing in 2014, his yardage totals and yards per carry continue to decline, even if our sentiment towards him doesn’t.
