Tony Parker spent the final couple years of his Spurs career playing with the Spanish Fly, Pau Gasol. Pau was the 2002 Rookie of the Year for the Grizzlies after coming over from Spain and toiled in relative anonymity for Memphis for years before being traded for his brother to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Pau’s numbers dropped with the Lakers but his fame rose as led the Lakers to back-to-back-to-back NBA Finals and was the team’s best player for two championships.
Yeah I said it — Pau led the team in win shares, BPM, and VORP, so eat your heart out, Kobe Bryant. Gasol has also added three Olympic medals, a World Cup gold, and three EuroBasket gold medals to his tally. He is a Hall of Fame lock when he finally hangs up his jersey for good.
