Detlef Schrempf (Germany)
Before Dirk Nowitzki was the German all NBA fans knew and revered, it was Detlef Schrempf. Schrempf was an absolute sniper from behind the arc, ranking in the top 100 all-time with a career 38.4% mark.
He won back-to-back Sixth Man of the Year awards coming off the bench for the Indiana Pacers in 1991 and 1992, then joined the Seattle Supersonics for an extended 90s run with Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton, also forming one of the game’s elite NBA Jam teams. Schrempf made 3 All-Star teams and even made an All-NBA team in 1995.
