It says something about Vlade Divac that he was so good that no one even remembers him as the punchline of another unfortunate trade, when the Charlotte Hornets traded their new draft pick for him on the night of the 1996 draft, a young man named Kobe Bean Bryant. Divac was one of the game’s great passing big men and one of its international pioneers.

He only made one All-Star Game but averaged 12 points, 8 boards, and 3 assists over a robust 16-game career. Divac was a tough defender with a well-rounded game, and his teams always seemed to be in the playoffs. He played 121 playoff games across 14 different seasons.
