Nikoloz Tskitishvili was not even in the NBA long enough for us to figure out how to pronounce his name. Personally, I always went with Sheevy-sheevy, but apparently it’s something more like Sky-tish-villy, which I suppose makes more sense.

Skita was one of three international big men taken in the top seven picks of the 2002 draft, along with Yao Ming and Nene Hilario. Two out of three ain’t bad. Tskitishvili was taken fifth by the Denver Nuggets but never managed to stay on the court very long and was out of the league four years and four teams later.
