Rudy Gobert (France)
Rudy Gobert has yet to make an All-Star team somehow, but he’s made All-NBA two times and All-Defense three times. Gobert is widely recognized as one of the best defensive players in the game, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
The Stifle Tower stands seven-foot-one with an outrageous nine-foot-seven reach, meaning he can basically stand flat-footed and touch the rim. And that’s what makes him the French Rejection, swatting shots left and right and affecting oodles of more attempts if you dare attack the paint. Perhaps now that the Utah Jazz have added Mike Conley, Gobert and Conley will both get the All-Star recognition they both so badly deserve.
