Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo was about as hard to score as it was to remember all of his names. Mutombo is one of two players in NBA history to win Defensive Player of the Year four different times, the other being Ben Wallace.

Mutombo made six All Defense teams and led the league in blocks three different times with his signature finger wag if you ever dared try to bring the ball anywhere in his area code.

Mutombo also led the league in rebounding twice, and despite all that, he may have made an even greater impact off the court as one of the game’s greatest humanitarians and truly good guys.
