Sports are not immune from the Hollywood power couple dynamic either. There’s something about seeing a person compete at the highest level that attracts people to each other.
It makes sense that highly talented people would find each other. They’re similar in nature. Driven to perform and succeed.

Roger and Mirka Federer
Before she was Mirka Federer, she was Mirka Vavrinec and competing for Switzerland at the 2000 Sidney Olympics. That’s where the Swiss tennis stars met. A foot injury forced her to retire in 2002, but didn’t stop the Federer’s from falling in love. The couple were married in 2009 and have two sets of twins, one set of girls, and one set of boys.
For his part, Roger is still competing and lengthening that impressive resume. When he retires, he will no doubt be considered one of, if not the greatest men’s tennis player of all time. With parents like that, those twins are going to have some high expectations to live up to.
