Simply put, there might not be a more hated college basketball player in America than Grayson Allen. Sure, he’s a great player; he was a First-Team All-ACC selection in 2016, and a Second-Team All-American the same year. But his actual basketball talents are largely overshadowed by all the borderline-dirty incidents he’s been involved with. Whether it was intentionally tripping an opposing player, which he’s been caught doing at least three times, or delivering a cheap shot to an opponent after the play is over, he’s become one of the most notorious players in college basketball. It even gotten to the point where Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski had to suspend Allen from the team, and strip him of his team captaincy.
