His birth name was André René Roussimoff, but you know him by the famous moniker of “Andre the Giant.” Standing 7’4 and weighing as much as 520lbs, he was often referred to as  “The Eighth Wonder of the World.” Outside of his career in the World Wrestling Federation, Roussimoff is well known for portraying the character named Fezzik in “The Princess Bride.” He died in 1993, at only 46 years old, due to complications from Acromegaly, a disorder that results from the body producing excess growth hormone.
