Nowadays, O.J. Simpson is known more for his despicable actions off the field, but as a running back at USC, Simpson was a force to be reckoned with. A two-time All-American, O.J. Simpson became USC’s second Heisman Trophy winner in 1968 after rushing for a then-NCAA record 1,709 yards. Simpson tied or eclipsed 19 NCAA, conference and school records.
