The Baby Sitter’s Club (Renewed)
One of the surefire ways to get a hit tv show is to adapt a hit book series. Take The Baby Sitter’s Club for example. The novels, written by Ann M. Martin, are a global hit. So, it’s no wonder that the Netflix adaptation is doing so well too.
With one season in the books, the streamer made the announcement that another is in the works with a video they sent out on social media. If you aren’t familiar with the show, it’s probably not for you as it’s aimed at tweens and teens.
AJ and the Queen (Canceled)
Incredibly, a show about a traveling drag queen and a ten-year-old stowaway didn’t make it. Despite the star power of RuPaul, the show was canceled after its initial ten-episode run.
The message of the show is important, two misfits traveling the country spreading love and acceptance wherever they went, but the package didn’t work for audiences.
Cobra Kai (Renewed)
Cobra Kai fans are feeling pretty good these days. In January, they got a new season of the show to devour. Then shortly after that, it was announced that the show had been renewed for a fourth season.
If you aren’t aware, Cobra Kai is unique in the streaming world having been originally produced by YouTube Premium but then moved to Netflix. Who even has YouTube Premium? Apparently not enough people to keep Cobra Kai in the fold.
