Teenage Bounty Hunters (Canceled)
Executives at Netflix didn’t take much time deliberating about whether or not to pull the plug on Teenage Bounty Hunters and canceled the show just two months after it debuted. The show was doomed from the start with a bland name like that.
The series followed a pair of twins who teamed up with a local bounty hunter to nab criminals. Seems like a recipe for success, right? Not so much.
Emily In Paris (Renewed)
Emily in Paris getting renewed should surprise no one. The show got rave reviews from professional critics and critics on social media. The show carved out its place in the Netflix lineup with its first season and should be expected to perform well in its second.
Production should resume on Season Two next spring, with the caveat being that we are now living in a pandemic.
White Lines (Canceled)
White Lines was a British-Spanish mystery thriller set in the exotic party island of Ibiza. It dropped in May 2020 and should have provided some eye candy distraction from the pandemic, yet three months later, the show was canceled.
If you want to kill 10 hours, the show is about a woman whose brother has been missing for 20 years. The brother worked as a DJ in Ibiza but turned up dead 20 years after having gone missing. Her sister travels to the island to investigate.
