Best: Cleveland Browns – Jim Brown
Jim Brown is the greatest football player ever to play the game. Jim Brown was so great that he shattered nearly all the major rushing records after nine seasons and promptly retired at the age of 30. He was the NFL’s MVP three times, made the Pro Bowl in each of his nine seasons, and led the Browns to the NFL Championship in 1964. Brown remains the only player in NFL history to average over 100 rushing yards per game for their career. Jim Brown was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971.
Worst: Cleveland Browns – Johnny Manziel
Johnny Football brought his circus act to Cleveland in 2014. He was tasked with bringing energy and action to a flagging franchise. Instead, he brought sub-par play and controversy. Like with every talented athlete though, the off-field issues can be ignored if the on-field production is outstanding. With Manziel, it was not. Manziel was an inaccurate passer, and unable to create the dynamic plays that earned him the Heisman Trophy in college. He was out of the NFL after two seasons.
