Best: Tennessee Titans – Earl Campbell
Earl Campbell was the first overall pick in the 1978 Draft but he sure didn’t play like a rookie his first year in the league. He won NFL Offensive Player of the Year in each of his first 3 seasons and was the league’s MVP in his second season. Campbell was outstanding for 7 seasons as a Houston Oiler before being traded to the Saints. His number 34 has been retired by the Oilers/Titans franchise.
Worst: Tennessee Titans – Chris Henry
The Tennessee Titans wasted a second-round pick on Chris Henry in 2007. During his rookie season, Henry rushed for 119 yards on 31 carries but did manage to get himself a four-game suspension. During his second season, he played in just one game and ran the ball once for 3 yards. He was released the following season. Chris Henry’s entire NFL career was 32 rushes for 122 yards. Not much of a legacy.
