Best: New Orleans Saints – Drew Brees
Drew Brees had a good run in San Diego, but when he signed for the New Orleans Saints, all the pieces fell together and he became one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation. In that time he’s been selected to the Pro Bowl 12 times, been the Offensive Player of the Year, and led the Saints to a Super Bowl victory. Brees is also a really good guy, has been integral to the rebuilding of New Orleans after the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina.
Worst: New Orleans Saints – Heath Shuler
Shuler was below-average Super Bowl-winning quarterback with the Washington Redskins before he was traded to the Saints in 1996. He didn’t get any better, and with the help of injuries got worse in New Orleans. He played in just 10 games for the Saints and threw 2 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Terrible.
