Best: New England Patriots – Tom Brady
Tom Brady isn’t just the greatest Patriots player of all-time, he’s the greatest quarterback in NFL history. What he was able to do in New England is nothing short of amazing. By now you all know the story of the 6th round draft pick who took over because of an injury and never looked back. Since Drew Bledsoe got hurt in 2001, Tom Brady has racked up 6 Super Bowl wins, 3 MVP Awards, and is near the top of every passing record.
Worst: New England Patriots – Chad Jackson
Bill Belichick is known for finding the hidden gems in the draft. Guys who weren’t at the top of every scout’s wish list, but would go on to have solid, overachieving careers. Chad Jackson was supposed to be one of those guys. Jackson was taken in the second round and expected to be a receiving weapon for Tom Brady. Instead, he played in just 14 games, catching 14 passes for 171 yards before the Pats cut him. Not even Belichick can get every pick right.
