These Air Trainers tool training to the new level. Never before had cross-training been a mainstream idea. Enter the Nike Air Trainer 1. Massive marketing campaigns featuring Bo Jackson and John McEnroe made people think differently about how they could be exercising.
And everyone knows you can’t exercise without the right shoe. See what they did there. These were interesting looking shoes too. Nike put the strap across the bridge of the foot so you could be sure to get extra support as you were training. Were those necessary? Maybe, maybe not but you didn’t want to find out when it was too late.
