4. DE Danielle Hunter Drafted By: Minnesota Vikings (2015)
Danielle Hunter has been something of a slow developer, but it looks like he was worth the wait. Hunter recorded only 4.5 sacks in three years at LSU and looked like a solid developmental pick when the Minnesota Vikings selected him in the third round of the 2015 draft. He bested that total immediately as a rookie with 6 sacks, then broke out with 12.5 sacks as a sophomore and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
In 2018, Danielle Hunter was one of the league’s best defensive linemen, spearheading a terrific Vikings defense with 14.5 sacks and 21 tackles for a loss along with another fumble returned for a touchdown and his first Pro Bowl berth. He ranked second in tackles for a loss and fourth in sacks and was named First Team All Pro by Sporting News.
