5. WR Jarvis Landry Drafted By: Miami Dolphins (2014)
Jarvis Landry was a monster his junior year at LSU with 77 catches for 1,193 yards and 10 scores, but concerns about his size dropped him to the 63rd pick, near the end of the second round. Those size issues never seemed to slow him down at the next level. He grabbed the Miami slot receiver job as a rookie and never looked back.
Landry had 84 catches as a rookie, and he’s had at least 81 receptions all five years in the NFL and led the league with 112 catches in 2017. He’s gone over 900 yards in four seasons straight and has scored 29 touchdowns receiving, rushing, and returning kicks. In 2018, Landry was traded for a fourth and seventh round pick to the Cleveland Browns, and he went on to make his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl. Landry had 481 catches his first five seasons. No other player in NFL history has caught more than 426 passes in the same time frame.
